Job Summary:

Blue Arrow is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Centre Operator to join our team at Chelmsford Hospital. As a key member of our crisis helpline team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To respond promptly and effectively to emergency calls, providing clear guidance and support to callers experiencing crisis situations.
  • To remain calm under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless call handling and effective resolution of complex situations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in crisis management or a related field, with a strong understanding of emergency protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with callers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and make sound judgments in high-stress situations.
