This rewarding role involves working closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of our residents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create a safe and stimulating environment for our residents, contributing to the home's positive and professional image.
  • Monitor residents' physical and emotional condition, reporting any changes to the relevant staff members.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to order and prepare supplies for activities and events.
  • Establish relationships with local community groups, schools, and organizations to enhance our residents' lives through intergenerational activities and connections.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in supporting older adults, combined with a commitment to delivering quality care, is essential. Previous experience working with older adults in residential settings, particularly those with dementia, is highly desirable.

  • You will work closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to develop and deliver activity programs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, combined with a willingness to learn and grow, is crucial in this role.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is £29,000 - £34,000, depending on experience. Avery Healthcare will cover the cost of a DBS Disclosure check. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
