A star children services is a NEW residential children’s home provider and is looking for an experience enthusiastic residential support worker that can work with the directors. We have a three-bedroom house in Solihull and the roles of the manager is to:
In this role you could:

- check the needs and progress of residents
- provide one-to-one advice or group support sessions
- teach daily living skills like budgeting, shopping and claiming benefits
- provide leisure and creative activities in a safe and supportive setting
- help residents to deal with problems and become independent
- talk with residents' families and arrange family and home visits
- Safeguard children and protecting their welfare
- Working directly with the manager and directors to ensure we are meeting rules and regulations

What we need:

- Experience of supporting children in a home
- Undertake sleep in duties as part of a rota
- Be able to work on own intative
- Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Solihull: Relocate before starting work (required)
