About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Leamington Spa. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading onsite audit teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit assignments from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments, including planning, execution, and completion
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines, and expectations are met
  • Prepare audit files and draft financial statements, ensuring compliance throughout
  • Report directly to Managers and Partners, providing regular updates on work progress
  • Liaise with HMRC on work assignments and supervise junior staff on site and in the office
  • Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress and liaising directly with clients
  • Scope out added-value services to support business development and champion your own professional development
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Applicant
  • ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified, or studying, with a proven track record of leading audit assignments
  • Good knowledge of audit software, including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong work ethic and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to progress, with a hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
  • Able to work confidently with senior team members and possess a proactive problem-solving approach
