Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our Medical Team, you will provide clinical care for children with brain injury and neurodisability, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess new children under supervision, identifying clinical risks and providing regular medical support.
- Contribute to the admission of all new patients, attending regular unit meetings and arranging investigations as needed.
- Manage clinical cases with the support of consultants and senior specialty doctors, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Participate in medical ward rounds, phlebotomy, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy button changes, as well as attending clinics in neuropsychiatry, neurology, and other relevant specialties.
- Develop emergency protocols and serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
- Full professional GMC registration and licence to practice, with an MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Strong clinical skills, combined with excellent child and family-focused interpersonal skills.
- A caring, supportive, and can-do approach, with a willingness to take study leave and commit to training in Paediatrics, Neuro-disability, and Neurorehabilitation.
