About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Business Director to lead our Area Manager team in the South East UK. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of Area Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  2. Drive Operational Excellence: You will work closely with our Operations team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive productivity and quality.
  3. Oversee Process Improvements: You will be responsible for overseeing projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and increase the quality of service for our customers.
  4. Analyze and Improve Shift Performance: You will analyze shift performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
  5. Collaborate with Management: You will work collaboratively with management-level colleagues to standardize shift practices and ensure consistency across our operations.
About the Team

Our Amazon Logistics team handles last-mile delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers.

Requirements
  1. Relevant Experience: You will have relevant experience in people management, communication, and data analysis.
  2. Education: You will have a degree and advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and local language.
  3. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques, as well as experience working in another logistics environment.
