Marine Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Lead to oversee complex ship repair and fabrication projects in our Greenock dry dock facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage projects, including onsite and port-based operations, requiring travel.
- Negotiate project objectives and scopes of work with clients.
- Supervise large teams of multiple trades in completing repair works, including steelwork, piping, and engineering, while coordinating sub-contractors.
- Understand various trades within the ship repair environment, such as outfitting, painting, engines, hydraulics, and electrical.
- Ensure project time and budget requirements are met.
- A background in Oil & Gas, Renewables, Large Fabrication Projects, or offshore vessels is advantageous.
- Service company experience, particularly with vessels, marine equipment, maintenance, or overhauls, is ideal.
- Familiarity with renewable aspects of the marine industry gives a competitive edge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word at an intermediate/advanced level is required.
- Ability to work in a busy and challenging repair shipyard/dry dock environment is essential.
- Weekday overtime and weekend working during normal hours is expected.
- Willingness to travel to other yards or remote locations dictated by the customer is necessary.
