The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Farm Attendant at Huon Aquaculture Company Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Hideaway Bay zone, you will play a crucial role in supporting our feed trials and harvest team.

About the Role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with and supporting feed trials, feeding fish, and maintaining feeding equipment
  • Undertaking environmental monitoring, monitoring predator activity, and assisting in other areas of the zone as required
  • Participating in all aspects of zone management, including net, pen, and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve results and uphold Huon's Values

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A coxswain's (desirable) and valid driver's licence (essential)
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team
  • Experience in Aquaculture, Marine Farming, or working on the water (desirable but not essential)
