Job Title: Deputy Head of 6th Form

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our team as Deputy Head of 6th Form. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the academic and personal success of our students in the 6th form.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the 6th form team to achieve outstanding academic results and student outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise aspiration and attainment in post-16 provision.
  • Work closely with the Assistant Head Teacher - Post 16 to ensure seamless transition and engagement of students in academic and vocational learning.
  • Model excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership, and promote a culture of high expectations and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a secondary school or college setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum design, teaching, and learning strategies, and the ability to analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
