Deputy Head of 6th Form - Achievement

Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our team as Deputy Head of 6th Form - Achievement. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving student success and achievement in post 16 provision, working closely with the Assistant Head Teacher - Post 16 to ensure all students thrive and engage in academic and vocational learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the 6th Form team to achieve outstanding student outcomes
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise attainment and achievement in post 16 provision
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and support for students
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leadership and management in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Passion for education and commitment to student success
