As a dedicated Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Description:

You will assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and collections, maintain accurate financial records and update accounting databases, reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closing procedures, process payroll for staff, deal with petty cash and Barclaycard, and respond to queries from clients and suppliers regarding invoices and payments.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
