Job Title: Drama Teacher - Lead Educator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Drama Teacher to lead our theatre arts department to the next level. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a well-structured drama curriculum that meets the needs of our students.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted feedback to support student growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's arts program, including curriculum planning, resource allocation, and event organization.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment, ensuring that all resources are up-to-date and accessible to students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Drama Teacher at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the drama curriculum and assessment frameworks.
