About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Field Support Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will provide technical support and guidance to our customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their lubricants needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers via telephone, email, and on-site visits, ensuring they receive accurate and timely advice on lubricants and related products.
  2. Lubricants Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our lubricants portfolio, including products, applications, and technical specifications.
  3. Business Development: Collaborate with Sales Teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow our lubricants business.
  4. Product Recommendations: Recommend Total products and provide technical advice to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their lubricants needs.
  5. Project Management: Manage and coordinate projects, including lubricants trials, oil sampling, and analysis, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of results.
  6. Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, Sales Teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of lubricants and related products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, Sales Teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
