Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Care Coordinator to join our team at ProMedical Personnel. As a registered mental health nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to prisoners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for prisoners with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct case reviews and update care plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Respond promptly to mental health crises and provide immediate support and intervention.
  • Educate prisoners on mental health issues and promote wellness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Experience working in a prison setting or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary Range: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
