Job Description

As a Band 6 Prison Mental Health Nurse with ProMedical Personnel, you will play a critical role in providing mental health care to prisoners, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient;">
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support;">
  • Participating in case reviews and updating care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes;">
  • Responding to mental health crises and providing immediate support and intervention when necessary;">
  • Educating patients on mental health issues and promoting wellness through various interventions;">
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and valid NMC registration. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
