We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Director to join our team at Appian. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving major enterprise telco accounts in the Northern EMEA region, building on a strong existing footprint to accelerate growth in this key vertical.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Use company-wide success and use cases as a blueprint and add your own ideas and vertical-specific knowledge to uncover valid business needs for the Appian platform and Customer Success services.
- Sales Strategy: Discuss business drivers and value with relevant decision makers, including C-Level executives, to build and strengthen business relationships with existing accounts across all hierarchies.
- Marketing Collaboration: Recommend marketing strategies using Telco industry knowledge to drive sales performance goals.
- Account Management: Provide status information, including forecast/pipeline information, and identify Appian customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.
- Experience: Proven track record in selling transformative software applications/projects to major customers, with a strong understanding of the sales process within the Telco industry.
- Skills: High energy, ability to multi-task in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization, entrepreneurial spirit, autonomy, and curiosity.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
