Job Title: Clinical Research Nurse/AHP

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Nurse/AHP to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will play a vital role in the identification, facilitation, and management of clinical trials.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify and facilitate clinical trials appropriate for our clinical services
  • Manage and care for patients and participants in clinical trials
  • Ensure participant care, treatment, assessment, follow-up, and data collection are coordinated according to research protocols
  • Work closely with research teams, clinical departments, and other stakeholders to ensure successful trial outcomes
Person Specification:
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or Allied Health Professional with HCPC Registration
  • Post-registration education and training in research or a related field
  • Experience in project management, leadership, and people management
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of clinical research and/or clinical trials
