Clinical Research Nurse/AHP Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Nurse/AHP to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for identifying clinical trials appropriate for our services, facilitating these trials, and ensuring the ongoing management and care of patients and participants.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing or allied health professions, with experience in clinical research and project management. You will be able to work autonomously and lead others, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and facilitate clinical trials appropriate for our services
  • Ensure the ongoing management and care of patients and participants
  • Work closely with research teams, clinical departments, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of clinical research and project management
Person Specification:
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or Allied Health Professional with HCPC Registration
  • Experience in clinical research and project management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead others
