Residential Children's Home Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Team Leader to join our team at Bay View Childcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support to children in our residential home.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home, including managing rotas, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaborate with other teams, such as education and therapy, to provide a holistic approach to care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the home remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, with a focus on leadership and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of child care legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-in shifts, to meet the needs of the home.
  • Basic salary of £26,201.60, with potential to earn up to £32,921.60 with sleep-in shifts.
