About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd. As an Apprentice Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounts and Ledger team with various duties, including processing invoices, statement reconciliations, payment runs, and dealing with supplier queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record ledger transactions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other external partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements

Requirements

  • Grade B/6 or higher in GCSE Maths
  • Grade C/4 or higher in GCSE English
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
