About the Role

Market 36 Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in a part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the financial foundation of the company's account department.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Record cost of sales invoices, ensuring accurate alignment with purchase orders and serial numbers.
  2. Process supplier invoices, utilizing SAGE software to ensure correct categorisation under appropriate nominal codes.
  3. Prepare payment schedules for approval and execute supplier invoice payments on a weekly basis.
  4. Maintain and update administrative systems as necessary, fostering efficient housekeeping.
  5. Support general accounts tasks, including credit control as needed.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Highly experienced in SAGE software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • AAT Level 3 qualification.
  • Familiarity with GDPR regulations and relevant legislation.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 22.5 hours a week (4.5 hours per day)

Remote Working: This is a remote-working position with 1 day in the office once a month.

Estimated Salary: Up to £28,000 (part-time salary equivalent is £16,800)
