We are seeking a dedicated individual to support the daily needs of children aged 5 and under with special educational needs and disabilities at Greenhall Special School.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming school environment, prioritizing the well-being of each child and promoting independence and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teaching staff to provide high-quality care and education to pupils with special needs
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the overall care and development of pupils, including supporting their emotional and social well-being
  • Comply with school policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and promote a safe and inclusive environment

The successful candidate will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. They will undergo clearance checks from the Disclosure and Barring Service and provide satisfactory references.

Job Details:

Part-time role: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:15am - 2:15pm) including a half-hour unpaid lunch break

Estimated Salary Range: £23,019 - £24,404 per annum (pro rata), Grade 3, term-time only
