Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to join our team in providing essential support to young people aged 16 to 18 in supported accommodation. Our goal is to create a positive and safe living environment that fosters growth and development.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £28,288 per annum, including 2 sleep ins per week. The role involves working shifts from 8 AM to 10 PM plus sleep ins. We also provide a range of benefits, including the Real Living Wage, Christmas bonus, and Blue Light Card.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support and guidance to young residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Engage in effective communication to build trust and rapport with residents, enabling them to express their needs and aspirations.
  • Handle challenging situations with patience and resilience, ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals in your care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records, documenting interactions and progress to support safeguarding and effective service delivery.
