Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Service Department, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert nursing care to newborns in our Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients' progress, making adjustments to care as needed
- Communicate effectively with families, providing emotional support and education on their baby's condition and treatment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:- Registered Nurse Subpart 1 Adult or Children's Nurse, midwife on the NMC Register
- Neonatal Qualification (ENB 405 or equivalent)
- Experience in an acute Trust, with a focus on neonatal care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
