Job Overview: Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant. This long-term, 5-day-a-week position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for supporting pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across all key stages.

The successful applicant will work as part of a collaborative team, delivering high-quality educational experiences that cater to the unique needs of each student. With a strong focus on child-centered approaches, you will be expected to develop and implement effective strategies to support pupil progress and well-being.

This role is perfect for teaching assistants with experience in SEND or supporting students with behavioral difficulties. The school has a proven track record of providing comprehensive training, guidance, and support to ensure staff are equipped to provide the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored educational programs
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior support

Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs preferred
