About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide exceptional care to our patients and their owners, supporting a varied caseload that includes emergency and routine check-ups.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assisting with surgeries, conducting nurse-led consultations, and supporting the veterinary team to ensure seamless care for our clients and their pets. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care, ensuring all patients receive compassionate, high-quality attention.
  • Assist with surgeries, performing all essential pre- and post-operative care.
  • Conduct nurse-led consultations and provide client guidance on preventative care, diet, and behaviour.
  • Support a busy and varied caseload, bringing practical, tailored solutions to each case.
Requirements
  • Qualified and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS).
  • Passionate about animal welfare, with a commitment to removing barriers to veterinary care.
  • Effective communicator with a proactive approach to teamwork and support.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a varied and diverse caseload environment.
Working Hours

Full-time hours over a 4-day work week. Rotational Saturdays, with 2 in 9 weekends. Part-time applications considered.

Benefits
  • Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum.
  • 6 weeks of holiday, including bank holidays.
  • Generous CPD allowance, funded up to certificate level.
  • Contributory pension and RCVS/VDS fees covered.
