Job Title: Veterinary Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled veterinary surgeon to join our team as a GP Veterinary Surgeon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for inpatient care and medicine.

About Us

Calder Vets Dewsbury is a 24/7 Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, providing high-quality primary care services and referrals across Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on clinical excellence, prioritizing client and patient care, supporting each other, and promoting mental health and wellbeing.

The Role

This full-time position involves working 3 days a week, Monday to Wednesday, and one in four weekends. The ideal candidate will have an interest in medicine and inpatient care, with the ability to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and create care plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients and liaise with other vets in the team
  • Oversee patient handovers to the night team
