We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at the Animal Trust clinic in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. As a Veterinary Surgeon at Animal Trust, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and challenging caseload, including orthopaedic surgeries, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload, engaging in both routine and complex surgical procedures.
- Utilise the clinic's advanced facilities, including two sterile operating theatres, a dental theatre, ultrasound, and X-ray rooms.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team, including our exceptional reception and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive care.
- Champion nurse-led care, allowing you to focus on complex cases and surgeries.
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon, registered with the RCVS.
- Strong interest and competency in managing diverse cases, including emergency and critical care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathize with pet owners and effectively work within a team.
- A passion for community veterinary care and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- A competitive salary range of £38,000 to £67,000, depending on experience.
- Flexible working patterns, including a 4-day work week plus one weekend per month.
