About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Childrens Clinical Lead to join our Continuing Healthcare Team. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Estimated Salary: £53,000 - £64,000 per annum

About the Role

This role involves providing clinical leadership and support to the Case Manager within the Childrens Case Management Service (0-25). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that individual care packages are reviewed in line with local policy.

  • Work closely with the Senior Clinical Operational Manager to ensure effective management of the team.
  • Develop and implement a content management system to ensure information is properly managed.
  • Take a lead in training & development and recruitment activity across the Team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide clinical supervision and complete assessments to determine eligibility for Continuing Care.
  • To ensure that the individual care packages are reviewed in line with local policy.
  • To monitor and manage the workload of the team within agreed targets.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Registered Childrens Nurse who has a post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be emotionally resilient, and have the ability to work under pressure.

Essential Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience of managing caseloads.
  • Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
