About the Opportunity

Shaw Daniels Solutions is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to lead our support team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real impact on our business and deliver exceptional customer service.

The IT Service Desk Manager will be responsible for leading a team of technical specialists who provide first-line support to our customers. You will work closely with the Head of IT Operations to develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service desk.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in IT service desk management, with a strong background in technical support and leadership. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technical specialists to provide first-line support to customers
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service desk
  • Work closely with the Head of IT Operations to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on service desk performance
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT service desk management
  • Strong technical background, with knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft O365 Admin Centre, and Service Desk tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing teams
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, life insurance, and paid holiday entitlement.
