Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As a key member of our UK Power Networks ED2 Alliance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, manufacture, and on-site delivery of electrical works for a new 132kV Substation being constructed by UKPN.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the implementation of Health, Safety, and Quality procedures, delivering projects to the correct specifications.
  • Manage the safe delivery of complex projects to quality standards, within budget and schedule.
  • Monitor Health and Safety standards, completing inspections, raising observations, and reporting incidents.
  • Produce and review RAMS, ensuring implementation and necessary amendments.
  • Manage subcontractors and direct labor, ensuring all personnel are competent and supervised.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team for procurement and financial forecasts.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing HV electrical works with knowledge of industry standards.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS, and degree qualified or working towards chartership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and a UK driving license.
