We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Kier Group. As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, manufacture, and on-site delivery of electrical works for a new 132kV Substation being constructed by UK Power Networks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the safe delivery of complex projects to quality standards, within budget and schedule.
  • Monitoring Health and Safety standards, completing inspections, raising observations, and reporting incidents.
  • Producing and reviewing RAMS, ensuring implementation and necessary amendments.
  • Managing subcontractors and direct labor, ensuring all personnel are competent and supervised.
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Team for procurement and financial forecasts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing HV electrical works with knowledge of industry standards.
  • Previous substation experience is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CSCS/EUSR and SMSTS, and a degree qualification or working towards chartership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and a UK driving license.
