School Site Manager Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards and expectations, taking pride in their work, and being proactive in responding to daily demands and planning ahead. They will have a good standard of DIY/maintenance skills, a good level of IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, and an understanding of health and safety and security or a willingness to learn. A commitment to being a team player who can contribute to a friendly and supportive working environment is essential.
The role will be varied and will include day-to-day responsibility for all maintenance, security, and health and safety aspects of the school site, its grounds, buildings, facilities, and equipment, as well as liaising with contractors. This is a varied role where you will need to be confident working on your own and be self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Reliability and good problem-solving skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain the school site, its grounds, buildings, facilities, and equipment to a high standard.
• Ensure the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors to the school site.
• Liaise with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the school site.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the school site is well-maintained and secure.
