Job Description:

The Electronics Project Engineer will form part of a small team responsible for the design and delivery of electronic sub-systems that form an integral part of the client's existing product range but also be instrumental in new products in the future. You will deliver final designs including schematics, Gerber files, bills of materials, test procedures etc, the design work will be done using external sub-contract resources. The primary job function of the Electronics Project Engineer is to manage those external resources to ensure that the project objectives are met, including functionality, timescales and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design lead for multiple electronics products that have been manufactured in volume
  • Creation of formal project documents including functional specifications and test plans, to be implemented by other people
  • Electronics design, both analogue and digital
  • System-level design of hardware and software through written specifications
  • Design for Manufacture of electronics assemblies

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000 per annum plus a bonus worth circa £5,000.
