Loan Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Loan Administrator to join our team at Reed. As a Loan Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our loan servicing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loan Servicing: Review and process requests for information accurately and within service level agreements.
  • Customer Enquiries: Handle standard loan enquiries from customers and their advisors, ensuring accurate and current information.
  • Account Amendments: Process amendments to customer accounts in line with procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Payment Notifications: Inform customers of payments due and ensure accurate collection in accordance with BACS rules.
  • Loan Security: Promptly process requests for redemption statements and oversee the release of loan security upon receipt of funds.
  • Financial Transactions: Calculate and process financial transactions in the servicing system.
  • Loan Boarding: Ensure accurate boarding of new loans and issuance of correct correspondence.
  • Loan Expiry: Oversee loans approaching expiry and ensure appropriate follow-up action.
  • System Issues: Report any system or loan issues, making recommendations as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Mathematical Skills: Strong mathematical skills for checking figures, instalments, and interest calculations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written.
