About the Role

This Service Desk Coordinator position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and delivering exceptional customer service. As a key member of our service centre team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to patients, doctors' surgeries, hospitals, and our laboratories and support staff.

As a Service Desk Coordinator, you will handle incoming calls, make outbound calls to clients and customers internally and externally, and perform administration tasks throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in handling large volumes of telephone calls in a busy environment with ease and efficiency.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively in a dynamic contact centre environment.
  • Degree-educated with a science subject background is desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a corporate environment as part of a team within the service centre.
  • Proficient in various systems and experienced in using Microsoft Office package.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £25,000-£27,352 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A flexible hybrid role with full-time hours (40 hours/week) based on varying shift patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Overtime paid for weekend hours and bank holidays.
  • The opportunity to work from home on weekends and bank holidays.
