Asset Management Leader

This role will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of our student housing portfolio in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing asset management plans to optimize income and maximize asset value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational and financial performance of assigned portfolios, ensuring optimal positioning and enhancement of cash flow and asset value.
  • Manage asset and operational teams to ensure revenue, expenses, and physical upkeep are optimized.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and reports, covering financial and operational performance, leasing status, and rental collection.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to underwrite new investment opportunities.
  • Work closely with property managers and outsourced service providers to ensure assets are properly maintained and compliant with regulations.
  • Manage market intelligence and global market information to ensure competitiveness of our products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Building, Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant real estate asset management experience.
  • Strong operational and financial grounding, with good knowledge of local markets.
  • Excellent people management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
