Job Role: Fabric and Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Fabric and Maintenance Operative to join our team at a secure prison facility. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the prison.

As a Fabric and Maintenance Operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of prisoners and staff alike. You will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including maintenance and repairs, to ensure the prison remains safe and secure.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to prison facilities
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of prison systems and equipment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Providing excellent customer service to prisoners and staff
