Job Title: Teaching Assistant

The Brighton & Hove City Council seeks a skilled and compassionate individual to provide educational support services to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at Downs View School and Downs View Link College.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced teaching staff and contribute to delivering high-quality education and care to our students. To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of SEN and its effects on students.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other professionals to develop individualized support plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. You will also maintain accurate records of student progress, providing valuable insights into their growth and development.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Support students with SEN in lessons and activities
  2. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
