Job Title: Tradecraft (Open-Source Intelligence/OSINT) Instructor (FTC)

Janes is a leading provider of open-source intelligence solutions, and we are seeking an experienced Tradecraft Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our intelligence community, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class OSINT training to our global clients.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the design and delivery of OSINT training, working closely with our Tradecraft Team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training content, assessing student performance, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the success of our training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver OSINT training courses, including leading or co-delivering training on the exploitation of publicly available information (PAI) and social media
  • Contribute to the development of our OSINT tradecraft curriculum, ensuring it remains up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our clients
  • Create and facilitate training courses to help customers understand OSINT tools and techniques
  • Develop and maintain OSINT skills and knowledge, staying current with the latest tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop innovative training content that supports key learning objectives (KLOs)
  • Identify training needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years' experience in analysis, preferably in the intelligence domain
  • A proven track record of effective instruction and training delivery
  • Experience working in the OSINT domain, with proficiency in OSINT tools and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel and work with Defence Sector customers
