Job Title: Tradecraft (Open-Source Intelligence/OSINT) Instructor (FTC)

Janes is a leading provider of open-source intelligence solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Tradecraft (Open-Source Intelligence/OSINT) Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our Tradecraft team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering best-in-class OSINT training content and instruction to our global customers.

About the Role

The Tradecraft Instructor will work closely with our SMEs (subject matter experts) to develop and deliver training content and instruction that meets the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for leading or co-delivering training on the exploitation of publicly available information (PAI) and social media, as well as contributing to the curriculum development for Janes OSINT tradecraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality OSINT training content and instruction to multiple customers
  • Collaborate with SMEs to develop and update training content and delivery
  • Contribute to the development and standardisation of Janes tradecraft, including internal needs, tools and techniques, and course material
  • Work with the Head of Tradecraft and Subscriber Services, other instructors and SMEs to finalise phase 1 of aligning Janes Tradecraft training KLOs, content, and assessments across different delivery channels
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 3 years' demonstrated analysis experience
  • A proven record of effective instruction and training delivery, preferably in the intelligence domain
  • Experience in working in the OSINT domain
  • Confident verbal and written communicator
  • Proficiency in OSINT tools and techniques
  • Willingness to travel and work with a variety of Defence Sector customers
