Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist/Senior Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist/Senior Nurse to join our team in North East Community Respiratory Service. As a key member of our integrated team, you will play a vital role in delivering pulmonary rehabilitation, COPD optimisation, respiratory virtual ward, home oxygen, and respiratory physiotherapy for patients living with chronic respiratory conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a band 6 Physiotherapist/Nurse or band 5 looking for the next step in their career. You will work closely with a team of physiotherapists, nurses, and support staff to provide high-quality care to patients in clinics, community venues, and in patients' homes. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering care to patients with complex respiratory conditions, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation classes in a range of venues across North East Essex
  • Conduct home visits to patients for assessment and review within your scope of skills
  • Develop and implement care plans to support patients with complex respiratory conditions
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience within the relevant care group
  • Registered physiotherapist with HCPC or Registered nurse with NMC Adult registration
  • Professional knowledge and skills acquired through a combination of formal training, short courses, and experience
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD
