Security Officer Weekend Shift

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our store team in Gillingham.
This is a full-time contract, offering great flexibility to work shifts in the daytime, evenings, and at weekends.
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided – we want to hear from candidates with great communication skills, commitment, and drive.
As Retail Security Officer, you will work alongside our Store Management Team to meet loss prevention objectives and ensure the safety of our colleagues and customers. You will also:
- Observe and report any incidents in store.
- Monitor CCTV footage, in line with company policy & procedures.
- Adhere to and enforce Health & Safety guidelines.
- Conduct internal investigations into stock loss, fraud, and theft.
The role of Retail Security Officer can be challenging at times, but also rewarding and offers great progression within our Profit Protection and wider teams. Our ideal candidate will be vigilant, assertive, and a helpful team player with a passion for security and delivering great service
It is essential that applicants have the following:
- The ability to follow instructions while staying calm in pressured situations.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- The ability to deal with challenging customers with professional behaviour at all times.
- A balanced sense of judgement, strong work ethics, honesty, and integrity.
