Patient Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Patient Support Specialist to join our team at The Christie NHS FT.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide dedicated support to patients and staff, ensuring seamless project coordination and communication.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payments.
- Liaise with administrative teams to cascade complex information and support the implementation of new systems and processes.
- Maintain accurate records and minutes from multi-disciplinary team meetings, uploading them to the specialist system for complete record-keeping.
- Proven experience in using Christie PAS systems, including careflow and CWP, specifically the waiting list and patient appointments functionalities.
- Familiarity with integra and ability to order items and sign off purchase orders.
- Strong analytical and judgemental skills, with the ability to monitor patient waiting lists and work closely with project leads to improve service delivery.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and plan workload effectively.
The salary for this role is estimated to be between £29,970 and £36,483 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will have access to comprehensive benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the organisation.
