Early Years Care Professional

We are looking for a highly motivated and caring Early Years Care Professional to join our team at Midlothian Council. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £24,890 per annum.
The successful candidate will work closely with early years staff to promote the social, emotional, and educational development of young children. A strong understanding of child development and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to young children with Additional Support Needs
- Collaborate with early years staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- SVQ2 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent competency
- Familiarity with child development and able to respond to individual needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
