About the Role
Barchester Healthcare is a leading provider of high-quality care services, and we're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional levels of care and support to our residents. This role requires a deep understanding of mental health principles and practices, particularly in relation to dementia.

Your Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse (RMN), you'll work closely with our residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each individual receives tailored care plans and comprehensive support. Your expertise will help us develop effective risk assessments and deliver person-centred nursing care that prioritises dignity, respect, and compassion. You'll also contribute to the development of our clinical teams, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance the overall quality of care.

The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. To succeed in this role, you'll need current NMC registration and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is essential, as is a commitment to ongoing professional development.
