Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live safely and independently in their own homes. Your primary responsibility will be to provide personal care and support services, including assisting with daily living activities, managing medications, and promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support services to clients, including bathing, dressing, and managing incontinence
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and shopping
- Manage medications and ensure clients take their prescribed medications as directed
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the care team
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a compassionate and empathetic approach to care. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. A background in social care or a related field is not necessary, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
