Support Role for Young Learners

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated support worker for a special needs school in the Wimbledon area of London. The successful candidate will work closely with a primary age group, providing one-to-one support and assistance to students with additional learning needs. The role is a full-time temporary position, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The school is recognized as an "Outstanding" institution in the area, offering a supportive environment with comprehensive training and additional support. Both graduates and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply for this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist teachers in the classroom and with lesson planning.
  • Help students with daily tasks and activities.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.


Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in working with children with special needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compliance with the school's policies and procedures.
