Plant Operations Manager

Your new company, a long-established business based in Kings Lynn, is seeking a Plant Manager to support their manufacturing operation. This role involves managing a team of over 30 headcount, focusing on improving product quality, reducing waste, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Your New RoleAs a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your manufacturing unit. You will identify and implement improvements in working practices using modern manufacturing philosophies, manage costs, quality, and output, and work closely with other departments to create efficiencies in quality and delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of over 30 headcount

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Production Engineering
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment at senior level
- Ability to demonstrate experience in effectively leading teams
- Exposure to and experience in implementing systems, such as LEAN, Kanban, Faxban, Six Sigma, and Kaizan
