Plant Operations Manager

Our client, a leading global organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join their team in Kings Lynn. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of the business and driving improvements in productivity, cost, quality, and output.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the entire plant product manufacturing operation, ensuring seamless execution and optimal performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging modern manufacturing philosophies, techniques, and systems to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for quality, delivery, and team development within the manufacturing function.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of personally identifiable information.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to drive business success.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory unit, ensuring smooth execution and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain a production plan that meets sales orders, key stock levels, and productivity targets, while ensuring quality performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and review the production plan to maintain or improve lead times, ensuring efficient production and cost control.
- Implement cost reduction and production efficiency improvements, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
- Develop and maintain quality and health and safety systems, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have prior experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar position. You will have a proven track record of managing volume and small batch production in semi-automated and manual environments.
Our client offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days of holiday. The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday, 7am-3pm.
